Hi! I'm Megs, the owner, the 'who knows how to do social media' manager, the logistics extraordinaire, your customer service friend, the packaging wizard, the crazy graphic design lady...and probably tons more roles I've forgotten about =D

Little Bit Bookish began when one chapter closed and another began. After years of creating merchandise, selling DTF and UV DTF transfers to other small wonderful businesses, I found myself craving something more personal — designs that came straight from the books that shaped me into the weird, bookish nerd that I am today. I wanted to build a space where readers could find pieces that felt like wearing their favourite stories or bookish vibe.

Every design in this shop starts with a moment. Sometimes it is a quote that stopped me mid-page, the kind you read three times because it understands something about you that you could never put into words. Sometimes it is a scene so vivid I can still smell the rain on the moor or hear the crackle of a hearth in a wizarding common room. Sometimes it is simply the feeling of closing a book and realising the characters will stay with you forever.

I often make a super rough sketch if an idea pops into my head when away from my laptop. Then I run to grab myself a cup of coffee, and maybe turn a show on in the background, before jumping on Photoshop and Illustrator to refine my ideas. The colours are chosen to match the mood of the design — warm creams and sage greens for the quiet, contemplative designs; deeper tones for the fantasy-esque ones that demand attention. The typography is deliberate: serif fonts that feel like old library shelves, like the weight of a hardback in your hands.

I make these for the midnight readers, the book dragons, the ones who press a finished novel to their chest and sigh. For those who have cried on public transport because of a fictional death, who have stayed up until 3am for just one more chapter, who believe that a well-loved book is a friend for life.

Little Bit Bookish is not just a shop. It is a love letter to the stories that made us, and to the readers who carry them forward.
